Almost 400 day one. Now I have 3.7k views and almost 100 readers after 1.5 weeks and 8 chapters.

I've recently gotten into the habit of adding lore/fun fact blurbs at the end of my story. They're fun to write and they build the world. Meh readers love em.

They can, but it's hard. Very Hard. I think it's more important when creating a smart character to surpass the average readers intelligence to make a character look smart. If you really want to make a character smarter than the writer, then you either have to plan out their actions optimally far...

I don't really care about the best ways to get a novel going or popular, I'm just curious about how fast some of you guys stuff took off. Not for a comparison, I just wanna know since the forum active is typically good writers.

Looks weird. I find it especially cringe if they do it continously just for no reason. I know hood people and most people can't replicate the way they curse without experience. It's not just throw curse word here because I can.
