What's your reason for not writing LitRPG fiction?

What's Your Reason for Not Writing LitRPG Fiction? I see the LitRPG genre as a popular genre that quickly attracts readers. Even if you release any LitRPG fiction on RR, it can quickly gain attention compared to other genres. Well, RR is indeed a heaven for LiyRPG (almost all writers know...

What's the most creative power or application you've written?

It's indeed an OP skill. However, I have an unwritten principle that OP characters must have certain disabilities, whether trauma, power limitations, etc. Well, FMC happens to be a moralistic and humanist heroine. She doesn't want to use the [Eyes of Judgment] skill carelessly. The reason is...

@Hush25 My principle is to write dark fantasy, using a lantern in the midst of the world's darkness as a moral compass for readers. I always instill the principle that in every darkness, there is light, there is hope, even when the world is on the brink of doom...

Writing What are your favorite steps in creating fiction?

I should have added the 10th step, translation, considering that much fiction is written in mother tongues and translated into English for global audiences. You'll probably cringe even more. But that's the complexity of fiction writing, and readers often don't realize it. Lol

On the other hand, normal characters can be inconsistent with their behavior because they have multiple layers of human personality. They can adapt to situations, so sometimes their behavior is inconsistent when comparing two different situations. Nevertheless, I like characters with integrity.

The reason yandere characters are consistent with their personalities is because they are yandere. They are obsessive, impulsive, aggressive, and sometimes even extremist. If they stop engaging in these abnormal behaviors, they are no longer yandere.

I'd love a review (or two)

I know that. That's why my comment said: I admit that having 'principles' for fiction can be a reason not to follow trends. And here's the main problem: if the story has good engagement, then feedback will come naturally even without the author asking. Meanwhile, fiction that is packaged as is...

Fiction, as a free space, can be a place for acknowledging suffering. "I understand your suffering, I feel sorry for you." Although that doesn't mean we agree on what to do with the 'response to suffering'. I know writing about suffering won't make my writing popular, but I write it anyway...

I've always struggled mentally to write a dark chapter about human history. I dislike it, but I have to write it. Because pain, suffering, and depression need to be acknowledged.

I'd love a review (or two)

I took a quick look at your profile, and well, congratulations! You've been a member of this site for five years. However, I also noticed that during those five years, you haven't really studied trends. One example is the simple packaging of your novel covers. I don't know if you have a...

I'm still traumatised by the term 'review swap.' I prefer to review what I read voluntarily, rather than force myself to review works that may not take my opinion into account. Note: Please respect the platform you are on. Regards...

How much faster does a mechanical keyboard make you?

How fast do I type? It's pretty fast to type with my eyes closed if I'm just writing simple words. But it's incredibly slow for writing fiction chapters (2 chapters per week with an average of 1.5k words per chapter). That's only 18 words (of fiction) per hour, or 432 words per day.

AI Fiction Update: The Machines Are Coming For Our Words.

I'm not sure it's completely 'not imitable'. If you feed random data into the training data, the AI is very likely to imitate it, even with 90% accuracy. The only thing that is IMPOSSIBLE for AI to imitate is something that hasn't been in their training data. In other words, truly unique ideas...

    Upload help

RR is a haven for LiRPGs. If your novel falls outside of that, it's very difficult to get the attention it deserves. Meanwhile, whether or not AI-assisted writing isn't a concern in RR, as they have an AI warning tag in their trigger warning. So if your novel isn't a LiRPG and doesn't have a...

Depressing first chapter in action/ kingdom building

It depends on how you narrate the tragedy within your conflict, doesn't it? Remember, the opening chapter should present the story's moral premise, which will become the gateway to the main conflict of an arc or even a series. If you can't make readers care about your story, then it's not a good...
