That's AI art, indeed. I wouldn't hire an artist unless my fiction had already been sold as a paperback. After all, this is just a hobby. And sometimes creating covers like that isn't easy. I render hundreds of times just to get that a cover, and it's quite tiring.

How do put my novel on a banner?

That's a membership fee that's not worth it. You only pay to place a banner on your own fiction and unlock the feature to analyze fiction statistics. SH offers almost all of these features except for the fiction banner. On other platforms, I've found even more advanced features, including a...

That can certainly be a good motivation. However, even I still hope that at least someday my fiction will be published as a paperback. It's still just another way to seek reader validation. And seeking validation is exhausting.

Maybe... maybe if writing fiction were truly a hobby, we should just enjoy writing the narrative, instead of worrying about who might read it?

Sometimes I admire authors who truly write fiction as a hobby. I've seen these authors consistently post hundreds of chapters with a total of over half a million words. Yet, they don't care about engagement at all, even if they only get around 1k views after more than half a year.

    Hello! New author here!

Hello, welcome. I don't want to discourage you. But, if you post anything about your fiction, please post it in the Readers > Latest Chapter Discussion section. Also, be careful about promoting your fiction, as most of the users on this forum are more authors than readers. Regards.

I don't know when I will continue it... This is my first josei fiction that explores the meaning of true love through the test of love: Sleeping Prince.

However, if the thread creator actually specifies what they want reviewed, it's worth considering. After all, we're all learning to write better. There's no Tolkien here, just people trying to learn to be better writers like Tolkien.

Well, we can ignore feedback threads that ask for unfocused reviews, like "please give feedback on my fiction." What kind of feedback? If the feedback isn't clear, it can feel more like bait or a thinly veiled promotion.

    Analytics [ Webnovels ]

In general, the US is always at the top of the list. It can be number 1 or number 2, but it never falls from the top spot. And the only anomaly might be China and North Korea, which never made the list (SH is likely blocked there). However, Russia did make the list, albeit at the bottom. Wait...

Webnovel Feedback Roasts For the Fearless

Well, a simple thing that authors often overlook when asking for feedback is forgetting which aspects they want to highlight. Is it the fiction cover? Is it the fiction synopsis? Is it the fiction title? If the focus is on the fiction content, what aspects of the story do they want to...
