:meowsip: It is not about the use per se. I just do not like them graphically. Purely appearance wise. The same with the dashes.

:blob_aww: I love ... and I put a space before them. I detest all dashes, especially those for word separation. Not to mention semicolons. They are ugly.

:blob_aww: That aside, punctuation conventions are some of the funniest things of being an author. Finding your own preference.
