Things in your writing that you think you're good at

Strength: Micro-describing scenes, detailing the events heavily. Fluffy moments. Weakness: Flowing dialogue. I like omitting sentences and words then let the audiences guessed the thought and intention of the characters.

Genre Discussion: How can you describe these genres?

    Gateway to success.

    MAGIc

For my words, talent is only a gateway. Understanding and perseverance is the true master. As for spell creations, they are nigh-impossible for the lower-rung characters, and only the best of the best who got lucky with some powerful legacy could have a chance of creating one out of inspiration.

A bug or am I just ignorant?

The frequency thingy is buggy. Sometimes it jumped to 4chap/week when I just uploaded 2chap/week.

    characters

Too overpowered. Add many more limitation or else you would have a generic isekai garbage. Or, make the focus point of the story not about MC's OPness.

    Tags in a Novel

25 tags are definitely not enough for me if I wanted to include everything. Just right now I have 22 tags and my first volume isn't even finished.

    Tips in writing a story

Write first then go back to edit to add some foreshadowing or corrections. Or, make a comprehensive outline for your story and let your imagination connected the dots during your writing phases. Remember, don't be afraid to delete the whole chapter to rewrite or scrape the whole plotline for...

Editing Any tips on how to find wrong tenses?

Go reread your past chapters and you will start to find faults that the past you neglected. The side effect is that you will hate your past-self a little bit more every time you spotted an easy and obvious mistake.

A little late reply but well. You can put it that way, but it is because my characters evolve as a person, and caused a change in their decision and belief. Every once in a while, I would have to rewrite my plotline because the new personality would choose a different path than before.

    Abusing (and) / (comma)

I am guilty of this. However, I don't think that it is a bad thing. For me, at least, I have a feeling that if I broke down sentences without using a comma, the situation will become somewhat disconnected and not smooth.

    Tags, ain't they spoiler-ish?

I would try to use tags that are vague in nature. Also, the tags limit is painful because I tried to explore many interesting ideas I had as the plot continued to evolve.

    Help with synopsis?

I was planning to rewrite my synopsis to get rid of the vague and non-informative nature of it after I finished my first volume.

What genres are you used to writing?

My comfort zone is Tragedy/Mystery/Fantasy. I will be writing one GL romance for a yuri competition as I have always been interested in writing a yuri one-shot. However, to this day, my most interested genre that is out of my comfort zone is still Horror.

How many buffer chapters do you keep?

5-7 chapters buffers because life is unexpected. However, if I have time, and did not want to play internet, I would do more chapters just in case.

When is a Chapter too Long?

I always keep it at around 2k words. However, it really depends on which type of novels you are writing.

Am I writing it wrong or are my readers just dumb?

Most readers just wanted to shut off their brain and read to forget their real-life problems. They simply did not care much to the detail as well as the mindset of the characters in a certain event. That is why the face-slapping of CN and slice-of-life isekai of JP became so popular. They are...

    Tips for writing fantasy

Fantasy is something that did not exist within the real world. However, realism needed to be exercised, otherwise, your story won't be believable. You can add magic into your world, but you also needed to give them rules and property that defined their place within your setting. Too much none...
