Same here. What I am saying is, know what you’re getting yourself into. I’d imagine they’d have a reason for it, but not questioning it.
That is a good way to end up with a ruined life. It wouldn’t be the first time something like this happened.
That ain’t a good idea, that’s setting yourself up for a complete disaster of a life.
There comes a time and place, when you have to realize the ones you associate yourself with are not good.
I’ve seen it. Hell, you wanna find the complete cesspool. Look on Steam forums.
Many of my favorite stories are female lead.
However, some of my favorite ones are male lead as well. It doesn’t matter what gender, I just expect things to be good.
I suppose as an additional note. Don’t worry about your story until after you’ve finished up. During the editing and rewrite process, this is when you will be really considering additions, removals, proper structure, story points, etc.
The point is, that you have the full view in your hands. So...
5. Put yourself out there.
—> You have to keep putting yourself out there, and little by little you will grow.
—> Take it from someone who came from less than nothing.
6. You can’t please everyone.
—> If you try to please everyone, you please no one.
Anyway, that’s all for Val Tip 2. Now...
Something just very well might stick.
3. A bad story can be made good.
—> Rewrite, a rewrite can transform a story much more than you think.
4. A solid plan.
—> A solid plan is the backbone of consistency.
Val Tip 2:
Take this from someone who completed too many stuff to count. Ain’t joking, I lost count.
1. First and foremost, write for yourself.
—> The point of the creative process is to bring to life something in hopes it can reach out there. Also, you can’t expect others to like something if...
Ya know, right now I am feeling lazy to make a release. Which doesn’t make any sense, since the damn thing is already completed. All I gotta do is copy and paste. :blob_blank:
Monetizing FanFiction isn’t legal. If you’re pursued, can’t say what will happen. Always get permission first.
Now, if it is your own story. And you have stuff your fans would like on Patreon, then yeah. You can do that.
So past the halfway point in Vita et Mors for a bit of time now. 87 readers, well 84 really.
If I can get at least 100 by the end. I'd say this would be a good pull.
For sure it has attracted new attention to the rest of my stuff. ^^
Anyway, the tragedy is just gonna get worse. :blob_popcorn:
Yeah, parodies are also a grey line though. No guarantee you’d be safe. However, it is an exception depending. In short, it depends on the law of the place.
