Would you be bothered by reading fan-fiction of yourself? (Poll)

I was seriously going to hurt you for that typo, but now... Now you are okay.

Would you be bothered by reading fan-fiction of yourself? (Poll)

Would I read fanfiction of myself? Yes! Who wouldn't want to know what they are saying about themselves? As for fanart, I suppose I would be curious (and scared of what I'd find).

In defense of smuthub and sexual content.

Do subtitles count? :blob_sweat: Those are absolutely good points (I won't discredit them). I will say there are some (meaning a few here and there) that wouldn't be a realistic representation for educating young (and do remember vulnerable) minds. Trust me on that one, I've seen action...

In defense of smuthub and sexual content.

I've wanted to (really badly) get myself into writing, but I think I am too thin-skinned for these hecklers. I don't want to write for profit (I hate numbers being a driving force), I just wanted to write and enjoy... I could be happy with the illusion of an entertained audience listening to my...

In defense of smuthub and sexual content.

In the other thread (the one @Assurbanipal_II created), I've stated this hadn't been the first time this topic was discussed. I provided a link that related closer to that thread, but I'll also provide one here that closer relates to your response here: 18+

And I don't read them, which leaves me not really knowing how they work. :blob_sweat:

In defense of smuthub and sexual content.

Some authors have written two versions of their story having one with and without the adult content.

Or write it. I've found those authors who've been criticized for their content have lost a portion (if not all) passion for writing.

    You're not alone doing that.

Because what is listed is also explained. Those content in the story (with the exception of the under 18) are permitted, but are not to be glorified. This discussion is not the first.

    Are you very wholesome?

Answer #1: I don't believe I am wholesome. I think I could be dangerous (mostly towards myself), but I am aware enough of the collateral consequences to not do something stupid. Answer #2: I don't know. A lot? I don't seek it, but when I do come across something wholesome I go "aww" and feel...

    About religion in writing.

I just woke up and had a thought: mythology. I am aware they used to be religions and that there are probably a couple hundred people out and about that say they "follow" it (I doubt they actually do sacrifice anything living to appease these neglected deities), but what is everyone's opinion...

Let's discuss about very detailed dreams....

    About religion in writing.

That does sound reasonable. The author stopped because they weren't comfortable writing it anymore; a personal excuse, not wholly because of religion.

    Gender swap focus

Strangely enough (and probably for the better), I believe anything other than f/f has become a dying breed of a theme for TG stories. It didn't used to be that way, but the problems (yes, I saw them as problematic when reviewers called castrated children "cute") it had associated with it (when...

Your Secrets as a ScribbleHub User...

Holy shit! I had seen that, but it never clicked what I was looking at. Thank you for showing this to us. :blob_blank: I would do the same if I had stories published here. :blob_sweat:

Anyone else let 1 or 2 bad reviews knock their confidence?

It is a reasonable decision. A lot of well-known authors had left that place (for more than one justifiable excuse) and came here.
