Writing Do people prefer a comedic style of writings or a narration style?

Well unfortunately I'm still in drafting and it kinda is the first novel I'm writing so it would take a while + don't expect even a novice writer's level of competence

Oh don't worry I just want to write the story because I feel like it and not for some grand thing like being famous or anything. Even if I do have like 60 chaps saved up I'll still release it in a decent schedule instead of putting it all out like some sort of self inserted deadline I suppose

Writing Do people prefer a comedic style of writings or a narration style?

For a comedic it would be like sarcastic dialogues for example: As if being chased by a horde of deformed life forms wasn't bad enough, now you are telling me that I also have to do this under a minute or I'll be killed by this incredibly helpful magical spirit guide(real)... Absolutely...

Well it was related to the thread I posted last time and people seemed to prefer the isekai one so I decided I'll write that one since I had got a better idea on what to do now

Writing Do people prefer a comedic style of writings or a narration style?

While I (for some peculiar reason) do think comedic style of writing is a bit unprofessional like, I feel like it would fit the story I'm trying to write (or uh draft first in this case) better but I'm a bit torn on deciding which is better

So um I think I at least got the hang of what I'll write and started the drafting. Oh well, it's better than no progress I suppose.. (once I'm finished I think I want to atleast have like 50+chaps before I'm confident to start posting it (after fixing mistakes ofc)) (So I won't have an upload...

I know it is too early, but...

I think the best option here would be not to worry too much about how the "average novel" would be like and instead focus on your pace. You shouldn't try to forcefully change it For the 2nd question I think having it drafted first then editted would be best since that would save a lot of time...

    Repurposing

You should write in the language that you are most comfortable with so if English is that then sure. Having a draft on how you want your story to go is pretty important as well (even more so for people who want to read it early and help you find the issues) Overall, go for it, its better to...

Do you think there is hope for me?

As long as you know what you did is wrong there is always room for redemption and improvement. So, I don't see why not though of course you should not take everything into consideration. Constructive criticism and maybe look at what readers struggle to comprehend in your stories should help...

What’s the coolest ‘elemental’ magic a character can have?

Space magic seems nice with how versatile it can be for daily life and conveniences (also the broken aspects assuming one can master it to that degree)
