Are you looking for something to read like that? Or asking if its OK to write a story on that? There are books that have this kind of theme that you are asking about. One of my books has a story with a safe zone enchant used in its plot.

well... all I can say is don't give up! Keep trying! You can do comedy relief chapters maybe to switch things up with the audience maybe with these ideas? I did a filler chapter in one of my stories as if one of the clown villains was doing a commercial for a youtube tv show. It got a few laughs.

Melchi has a good point. The... real headache in this is textboxes and all that stuff can look screwy on 1 device (with a small screen) but not necessarily on another with a big screen. That's why its such a pain.
