    Ah, that makes sense. It is a challenge to be sure. All of writing is difficult for everyone in some way. But the feeling you get when you get people that genuinely want more of your work... ? It's great. You'll get there, it just takes practice.

    I'd say a general proofread of grammar would help. The big thing in fight scenes is that you want the reader to understand everything as easily as possible.     My personal take was not so much first person, but the present tense. I've read fantastic action scenes with first person Pov, but present tense rarely is palpable to me.
