Types and Styles of Gender Bender

Trust me, they all don't. Just for an example: there are stories out there (and here) that have children protagonists and/or characters involved and they never once touched on a smutty subject.

Types and Styles of Gender Bender

I'm guessing here: same reason readers rate stories they never bothered to read (because they can)?

Types and Styles of Gender Bender

I'm not sure if you are covering every form of media out there or just the popular ones, but there are characters who had absolutely no desire to be the other gender and never changed their mind about it towards their story's very end. I had entered a discussion about one such character (this...

Editing I'm an editor. I guess(?)

That I can understand. Thank you for explaining this to me. :blob_cookie:

Types and Styles of Isekai 2.0

Thank you for answering my question. The stories here that get mis-tagged are likely what confuses me most of the time. I'll keep an eye on that fine line that defines their ("there" being: Reborn and Reincarnation) differences. :blob_cookie:

Editing I'm an editor. I guess(?)

I Googled the definition of throughput ("the amount of material or items passing through a system or process.") but I still can't grasp what it means when used in your statement. I believe I am being thrown off by "More words = lower price" when throughput sounds like it is meaning processing...

Types and Styles of Isekai 2.0

Thank you for pointing that out. What I am about to say is slightly off the topic of discussion: I've seen plenty of titles with "Reborn" and "Reincarnated" in them. I am really starting to get confused on their differences when used in an isekai'ed context (is there any?). :blob_unsure:

Types and Styles of Isekai 2.0

Thank you for responding and answering my questions. I do appreciate the categorizing work you have done here and am glad to have asked you those questions (I would've felt stupid if someone pointed out I was wrong in classifying that story :blob_sweat: ).

Types and Styles of Isekai 2.0

That is completely understandable. Last question: I have plans for an Isekai type of story, but I don't know how I should classify it. I believe it would be the Virtual sub-type, except the way this story starts off is different. The protagonist isn't exactly the same person who plugged...

    Slime overpopulation problem (Poll)

    1. What would you do? They saved me and are keeping me company, not the other way around. I could've been left alone and they would've gone on with their existence like I wasn't even there. They're my companions. My only friends in this strange world. What wouldn't I do for them? 2. Is life...

Types and Styles of Isekai 2.0

What if they're a demon possessing somebody through a summoning circle? Is that still Reincarnation (maybe a combination of Summoning/Reincarnation?)?

Types and Styles of Isekai 2.0

Is it still Transmigration if the protagonist's consciousness (sometimes referred to as the spirit or soul) was transported (willingly, mistakenly, accidentally, or forcibly) onto another world and into somebody's body (not to be mistaken for Reincarnation, but an individual who has had an...

Your last played Video Game character has to kill you in 24hrs

I was playing Zerg on Starcraft 2. Not only am I dead meat (and biomass for the Swarm), but this might be real bad for the environment (and humankind). :sweating_profusely:

If someone fell in love with you, why did they like you?

    1. Why would somebody fall in love with you? I may not have had what everyone else had (all of those special natural-born gifts), but I would've tried harder than anyone else to prove I have value. Maybe that is why; regardless of being a lesser being than everyone, I was still there for them...
