Is it OK to pierce a baby's ears?

As I see it, it is purely a cultural thing with no real benefit, and see no reason why people could not wait a few years to ask the kid, until the kid can decide if they want earrings (that are not just clip-on thing). They are too young to conscent to many things, yes, but why not let them...

Writing Prompt Obscure real-world cultures/settings for an Isekai

Well, it took us around 4-5000 years from the forming of the first civilisation to the start of industrial revolution, with progress comparatively slow in that period, and I would argue that high convenience and abduance of magic would make this even slower, as magitech would be largely...

Are deleted works cached in some way?

And another slight detail, they have the means to actually distribute the work ready from the start. Where you would have to find/set up a platform to sell your book and in case of printed books, get them printed and distributed on your own expense, they already have connections and/or...

    Let's play dress up Tony

As much as I like the Gith Loli, Tony the Tiger is the best :blob_aww:

What is status in reader stats

Also when you put a novel in your reading list, it puts the status at (bookmarks chapter) 1/xx even if you don't touch a single chapter. Meaning people like me, who have reading lists just to more easily find novels they found interesting but did not want to read just yet, appear with status...

Do you ever feel bored toward this world?

Get up, go to work, go home, kill some time, sleep, rinse and repeat. Most days only differ by what's going on at work. Sometimes I'm just sitting there bored out of my mind and yet don't feel like doing anything. And still I can't get myself to do anything about it.

    Security Features?

If you block them, they can't leave a review and they can't comment on your chapters. I really don't see why go the extra mile to make your stories invisible, as it would not help either if they're dedicated to harrasing you. And if you think someone is targeting you, report it. And honestly...

To change or not to change?

You can just give the MC eastern roots, unless you already introduced his background. For examle, he was born in the east, to an eastern mother who met and married a western man living here on a business venture, hence the eastern first and middle names and western family name. Then shortly afer...

Is all this just a waste of time?

I have seen several authors get published with both prited books and e-books, and only taking their novel off off sites like RR and SH after they secured a deal, or even only taking down the published books of a novel, save some preview chapters, and continuing to post new chapters for free...

As a man of culture, I prefer my smut without harem, thank you.

Writing If you're non English speaker, do you write your stories in your mother language first?

I'm just a reader, since I can't write for sh*t, but if I was writing, seeing as I can put my thoughts straight into English just fine, writing in my native language and then translating it would be doing double the work for little to no profit.

Do you play bad end or good end first?

Now I'm curious what game that is. Sometimes I'm in a mood for sthings like that. Yeah, I rarely even look for a walkthrough before completing at least one route, as knowing what leads where would spoil the experience for me.

Do you play bad end or good end first?

On my first playthrough, I pick the choices that feel right for the situation and characters involved and if that leads me down different path than I originally expected, so be it!

I don't feel confident on my new story

This. English is my third or fourth language (next to German I barely remember and Russian I learned for two years only) and it is certainly not perfect, but I can say with confidence the sheer ammount of (properly edited) English literature I consumed helped me greatly in grasping the language.

How about we inverse the insults

Your passion for writing moved me! I will resist this foul temptation and won't make you stop writing to laze around all day, sleeping and playing games! Go! Go now, mighty author, and may you never run out of ideas to put on paper and your readers bless you with many five stars, so that you...

How about we inverse the insults

I don't know you, I don't know your novel, but now I feel tempted to find it and give it a one-star just to see what happens.
