I already do that with my readers. I'm not necessarily out of ideas. In fact, it's the opposite. The difficult part is to insert every single idea I want to write into my story, and not make the story an incoherent mess in the process. That's why the longer the story goes, the more set parts...

Funny. My readers criticize my MC for doing the opposite, going for a hybrid build over a pure mage one.

How do you overcome lack of motivation though? You know that feel. Instead of being excited to write, you just feel like you're trudging along. Usually this happens on parts of the story that you struggle to write through. And sometimes you just feel that it's not worth making the effort...

Like Hans, I also got similar criticisms, though it's more about my MC being pathetic than dense. I mean, it's in the title. That's how I want him to be. :s_tongue:

For what it's worth, I've read a bit of your story, and even if it's not my type of story, I still can say with confidence that you're a competent writer. I don't think you need to be afraid of not being good enough.

Some days, I feel absolutely confident in my skill in writing. Readers have praised my waifus, and one of the big reason why I started writing an isekai harem story is to write the kind of waifus I want to see in the genre. Maybe too well even, as my readers actually want the MC to go full...

Thinking about it, I don't know how much people would be willing to give me money for my story since I never set up that stuff. Well, my currency is recognition instead, I suppose. I want people to talk about my story. Preferably in a positive way.

Honestly, I continue mostly because of my kind readers being active at the comment sections. Makes me feel it's worth it to spend hours of my life writing all those chapters. :s_smile: Well, that, and I still having something I want to write about. Sometimes, you have to step back and reassess...

Yea, just leave a review or something. Oh wait, you can't really start a dialogue with the author that way. Gotta do it through the comments or through PM.
