So I got a beginning and an ending. Sort of have an idea about the middle but the details are escaping me. Do any of you have tips on how to solidify a storyline's main chunk? After all, the middle part is where a lot of groundwork and foundation is laid for the ending.

Might just be me but it sounds too convoluted. Too many twists and turns for an otherwise simple plot. Still, asking here is a bit strange. I mean, just write it if you feel compelled to write it. If it's relevant to the story, sure. If not, why bother?

So there's no real set character? They don't necessarily mean something important? Like in the illustration, Yu, De, and Wen, don't really mean anything? I thought it was something set in stone. Like something they have to follow by the book per generation.

To start off, I was researching Korean naming systems and came across descriptions of generational names and got even more confused about it. Segue to, I find out that it came from the Chinese. Found an illustration and just wanted to ask, do those generational names mean anything?
