I would like to bump this thread since going to a story and having something promised to us by the tags but not appearing for dozens of chapters and counting is really annoying. Edit: Although this is never going to get implemented, I like dynastyscan's system where some chapters can be tagged...

You shouldn't have put depends on execution by itself. You should've had: yes no generally yes if executed well generally no even if executed well execution by itself is a cop-out non-answer.

I have a few stories (serious novel types) that I started but ultimately converted into short stories because I felt I wasn't good enough to continue. Among them is a story about a real world being access through a VRMMO.

Be aware that fanfiction and original fiction doesn't even have that much of an audience overlap. The former is reading for the original author's work and the latter is all you.

Several of your criterion seems to overlap too much to be considered cardinal. 1 & 2, 2 & 4, 6 & 7. Not all of them are equal-weight too, for example, number 8 is almost a sure sign of a mary sue, while number 1 is rarely an indicator depending on your setting and character distribution...

I was thinking more of "Type the name of the fic and select from a dropdown if there's multiple" on the filter page, but if it's easier to implement your idea works too.
