Which favourite story of yours was turned into a successful movie?

I used to be this really big Anne Rice fan....and I remember how disgusted I was that Tom Cruise was gonna be Lestat in Interview With The Vampire....then I saw the movie and felt chastised because he actually did a good job of it. It's one of the few Tom Cruise movies that I ever liked.

What do you do in a rainy day?

I love rainy days. It inspires me to be playful, to cook yummy things, to hibernate and read a special book, to dance in the rain and follow it up with long hot showers or baths, Soups and a hot Cocoa somehow taste better too. Rainy days are magical. \0/

Which favourite story of yours was turned into a successful movie?

Tolkien was a solid academic, really respected in his field, even my professors would occasionally mention him with gravitas in class. It's odd for me to think he got owned by his editors/estate/Hollywood in the end.

Which favourite story of yours was turned into a successful movie?

*mind blown* That would have been so neat if they'd done it like that in the movie. A bit like the mecca type warriors in Avatar. They probably didn't have good enough CGI back then to make it look realistic. Now you have made me want to read the novel. >.> *adds to her list of reading...
