    Superhero stories?

Glancing through search results, I think 4 is actually quite accurate. WOW, it's kinda sad looking. There's a few standouts, but... It's really, really hit or miss, apparently.

    Superhero stories?

Speaking as the only person on SH, 4. Then again, there's a LOT of marvel fanfics. So maybe 8?

World Hopping and Quick Transmigration how many chapters should each world be?

Seven. I googled "how many words is an episode of stargate". It said '15000 - 20000, assuming you're writing in story format instead of script format.' So technically seven to ten. Obviously there are two-three part episodes though, so you could also have up to thirty chapters devoted to one...

Reincarnation mangas and novels. What haven't you seen yet?

For web novels, stubbing is when the author takes down all but one or two chapters of the story and puts the rest behind a paywall, usually by publishing it on Amazon. (Thus leaving a stub, like an amputated limb... or apparently the stump of a tree.) So you can still read it, if you're willing...

Oh interesting. I've never seen stub used that way.

    The worst feeling

No Adam, I can't recall the feeling of writing badly, nor the disappointment of going to bed knowing I didn't do my best, nor how it feels to write anything at all. Only the writer's block. Only staring at the last thing I wrote, and wondering how to continue it. Only the disappointment of...

What evidence is needed to conclude one way and not the other

Motive. Someone put the poison in, and that person had a motive. Why did they do it? You have to know the motive to understand what happened. From the information given, the only motive is, 'The servants get money, and don't have to work for the house anymore. Also dispose of the evidence with...

    chapter release scheduling question

Anyone who's written or read a story with a set schedule will tell you it's better than not having one. Of course, if you can't maintain the schedule, it'll reflect worse on you than if you'd just not had one at all. A pleasant surprise is always better than a disruption, I guess.

Draft Idea 10: Attempting Five-Man Band

I think the fourth one works best with the team you've laid out, but since it doesn't describe their fighting styles like the others do, you could combine it with one of the other three as well. If you want the characters to have a more complex role, then the way to do it is to give them solo...

[Need help] Unconsciousness vs subconsciousness vs consciousness vs reflex

All that is great, but I've only ever seen the word 'unconscious' used to refer to someone who is not conscious; i.e. asleep, drugged, stunned or in a coma; to the point where I would say its an error to use it synonymously with subconscious. Google says it's not an error, but I refuse...

Announce or maybe declare are the words that come to mind, but another synonym may work better. Oh, small talk or 'pleasantries' for the second comment.
