    Are loser protagonists really relatable?

The self-made man is a myth, an illusion designed to keep the working class docile in the hope of achieving ultimate wealth. Your vision of childhood and teenage years is at the same time really concerning (property, seriously?) and misses the whole point of the inequality of the American...

    Price for Power

Oh my sweet summer child... No genitalia by no means equals no sex. Got a tongue? Fingers? I mean that hero, as defined, never gets tired, that's enough for them to be a very interesting sexual partner! You want to be cruel and put an actual price on the power? Leave them their naughty bits...

    The heroes shouldn't be invited

The Great Evil has been defeated against all odds by the Heroes. The people can now celebrate their victory, and a festival is organized by the relieved Reasonable Authority Figure. The only thing is that the Reasonable Authority Figure has a very good reason to not invite the Heroes to the...

    NPC Gang Dialogue

"Well well well, you thought we wouldn't find you here? We own this town, we own this alley, and we own your sorry little cabbage ass. Now pay up, and don't bother trying to give us your worthless scum instead. Last time we had a shipment of your cabbage, we had to keep our windows open all...

When the MC's body isn't the same after adventuring many worlds

It could be cool as a gimmick or even as a premise. It opens some very interesting questions : - How are body and mind linked? Does changing things in their body, being tech prosthetics, symbiotes, cloned or summoned parts, genetic or magical mutations, affect the protagonist? Is it immediate...

    Does anyone enjoy escort missions?

Depends on the genre, but generally, escort missions suck because of a rather dumb AI. If it's turn by turn and you get to control the escorted party, it can be fun though. XCOM had rescue missions (turning to escort on the "GTFO" phase) and they were fun, I'm pretty sure Shadowrun would work...

    Strength or Dex or Both?

Dex all the way! For combat uses, both are fairly equal. Where Dex shines is outside of combat. You can sneak, dance, balance, climb, evade, pickpocket, use ropes etc... all with Dex. With Str you can... lift things? If you don't want to be a glorified pack mule, go for Dex!

    Overflowing with Ideas

I'm not an author, but here's my piece of advice: are you happy with your story? Is your idea cool? Then yeah, you do you! If you're not happy with the pace, but think the idea is really cool, you can have the protagonist think about it, fail to implement it (either completely or partially) and...

What sort of Self-Inserts are annoying

Yeah, I get what you are saying, the appeal of a simpler life could work. It doesn't really work for me, but I get it.

    Are loser protagonists really relatable?

Your grasp of percentages and economy are challenging... You mix global levels of wealth and national ones, which makes it harder to follow you. There's more to wealth than being in the top 1% global/top 12% US. And the number of billionaires is not a good measure of a nation's economic...

What sort of Self-Inserts are annoying

Whiny, "oh no this is awful, I miss being a fast food worker now I'm a god in a fantasy world" Isekai protagonists. If your Isekai situation actually sucks, you can complain. If you're living an objectively better life than what you had on earth, you'd better stop: you're not being relatable...

To dungeon or not to dungeon

To me, you have 2 ways to try to make this work: bottom up or top down. You can even use both. Bottom-up is mostly what you've been doing with defining the nature of the threats that your protagonists will face at first: collapse of civilization, dungeons, mutated animals, etc... Those are all...

What will be your zom100 bucket list?

    - kill a zombie - watch the "removing the brain or destroying the head" bit live on TV - build a zombie cart with meat on a fishpole - set an overrun place aflame - loot a store - crash a car into a zombie - mercy kill a bitten friend/family member I wouldn't survive long, I've got lots of...

A series of short stories, following the stories of various criminals cursed to die in 100 days.

One of them goes on a rampage, as he is cursed to die in 100 days, not before. Another copies him, only to be mortally wounded and put into an artificial coma from wich he will never wake up. One of them spends all of his ill-gotten gains to prevent his ultimate fate. Another seeks revenge...

    Named chapters, yes or no?

Yup, I'm with named chapters also! And even better if you get to make an unspoilery name that's still interesting and/or whimsical.

Writing prompt needed because I'm out of ideas :(

Fantasy and Excalibur-ish swords/weapons prompts? Let's do this! - The weapons of the gods had always been their own, and no mortal was deigned worthy to wield them. One day, the gods stopped answering the mortal's prayers. Shortly after, MC discovers one of the gods' weapons. - Excalibur...
