The 15% rule is easy to bypass. Don't reduce the smut. Pad the story with something else like numbers and stat sheets. RR readers have numbers fetish so your story will end up getting more popular if you do that.

Leaving a chapter worse just to get readers commenting with edit suggestions is virgin RR behavior. We don't do that here. Most users in SH are silent and aren't grammar police.
