Do every novel author react to the accident where he deleted his draft chapter with exact emotion like he launched the nuke to his motherland?

worse, it's no longer accidentally deleted. My hard drive is bricked, and I lost all motivation on writing. Took me two years to get back up

    Do you write multiple stories?

regardless of whether you find writing multiple stories easier or harder, please don't do it. I did that and it's way harder to keep the track of my own plotting for those newer stories I happened to lay down in GDocs. My best advice is to focus on finishing at least one arc of your story...

Writing Tips on how to write Mecha battles a little more interesting!

Don't forget that soft sci-fi stories, games and anime giving incentives on mechs because of the energy shield presence and the incredibly sturdy armor plating that has nigh-impossible durability. Take it where the armor plating is made of Marvel's vibranium or the Tolkien's legacy exotic...

Writing Tips on how to write Mecha battles a little more interesting!

two words, technical headache. And I'm not just talking about control schematics, but also power generation and material science. Mechs are the ultimate engineering feat. You don't just think of "put legs on tanks". Unless those folks from DARPA can figure out on translating the whole weapon...

What writing advice helped you the most? or didn't?

the classic 1500-2000 words count (per chapter implied) is getting way too short, especially if you do the likes of Progression (or whatever it's called in Scribble Hub). It is also effective at manipulating traffic, which it gives a longer form of fiction (closer to 4000+ word per chapter) a...

Writing What do you think about a protagonist acting as an anti-villain against an antagonist acting as a hero?

going by that standard, we got the likes of Vult from Kuroinu who's the villain and also the protagonist. Yes, it's from an R18+ visual novel, but there are numbers of cases for protagonists who wanted to rule the world ruthlessly, and through any means.

How do characters talk with the System?

My system didn't talk. It just informed the result of the protagonist's action. Cold. Indifferent. Ambiguous.

Book titles have changed: From abstract to full sentences..

some Japanese web novels/light novels had grown more straight-to-the-fact in directness than what it used to look like more than a decade ago, so you shouldn't be surprised if the modern title gave away what the story told you firsthand.

What do you look for in a "relatable" main character?

What do you feel should be in a reverse world story?

Well, the first thing I'd like to ask/need to be addressed is what kind of "reverse" world? Because as far as I've observed, there the "reverse chastity" world and then there's the "extreme gender disparity" reverse world—though either is often clumped together. My opinion is that it's a...

Writing What is the lore in your fiction?

Hmmm. I guess I'll put one of mine then. Rising Steel Dynasty: It's the start of Industrial Revolution, and the nobilities are starting to change. Resist the change, and they'll be left behind to be looked like some backwater boondocks wearing a mantle. Going along with the change and you'll be...

    Revenge Novels

Key points you should watch when doing revenge stories: Do not overextend the grudges the protagonist has after the revenge moment. Always asked yourself: do I want to make this so the protagonist's suffering won't last long or do I want to stroke my ego and feel good on making my other...
