    Hello Scribble Hub Community!

hey, i represent that! wait, that's the wrong word... jokes aside, I'm a writer but with too many ideas, so yeah, I adopt my extras out to others - entirely free of charge and no citation needed, but I'm always up for free advertising if any of my takers want to give a shout out! idea guys...

    Good setup for litrpg?

yes, it's a good set-up. honestly, better than most of the "good" litRPG stories I've read. but my biggest concern is that there's a LOT that goes into LitRPG. That's why I don't write it. you have to basically make an entire TTRPG, but rather than release it, use it as a basis for a story. and...

Where's the line between magic and superpowers?

I haven't seen Jojo, so I can't speak to that.

Where's the line between magic and superpowers?

it's something I hadn't really considered before. But no matter what, there's going to be some overlap. If magic requires an external force, such as mana, ether, etc, then Superman could also be considered magic, since he relies on the radiation of the yellow sun - kypton had a red sun, so no...

    The Truth About Reviews

I felt this one. I've had a few actions that were unpopular with readers, but it made sense for the character in that specific instance. My current story, I've got readers that blatantly admit to ignoring most of one of the groups it's following, because the secondary lead (the 'mom' of the MC)...

    Does this bother you?

nah, I feel it's weird too. But I usually think of it more as the title is the MC's goal. Something like, he wants to be the Invincible Swordsman. There's also the option that the MC isn't the one the title is named after.

If you make a novel to please everyone, you are the Nickleback/Imagine Dragons of novel writing.

so... If I write a novel to please others, I could end up like Nickleback, popular, famous, and well known? Meanwhile, if I write to please myself and take risks, then what, I'll end up like Savage Garden - a small dedicated fanbase but never really growing from there?

    immersion breaks

I actually have a sort of explanation for most of these. It's largely based on the amount of each metal available to the kingdom. Beyond that, it's largely arbitrary. Though I do agree that gold should have large and small denominations. Large gold and small gold coins. And make it a little more...

What's the best time to post a chapter.

this question invariably pops up once every month or two. As has been said on others (and as moon quoted corty as saying above) there is no "best time". If there were, then it wouldn't be as we would ALL pile on there, making it the worst time for visibility purposes. So what's the best time...

City Building Games like Sim City

as I said, it had been a while since I played it. And I meant more the unit selection thing from the "army builder". Select a unit, tell them what to do, kinda like in warcraft, when you'd select your warriors and have them go chop wood.

City Building Games like Sim City

Not sure if you'd consider it a city builder, but I'm particularly fond of the Dungeon series and similar games. Xbox has one that's called Against the Storm, which (it's been a while) I think was a mix of city builder and classic warcraft army-builder.

Writing Prompt What would you add to make this story worse?

hmmm... plot armor? A bird flying by is hit by the bomb on it's way down, triggering the explosion precisely 2.3 feet higher than it should've, and this difference was JUST enough to barely allow her to survive. But only due to her specific positioning, in a doorframe. Everyone else was still...

    Regarding Butterfly Effect

it's not a matter of "will" so much as "can". I step on an ant. That ant would've otherwise be eaten by a bird. Because the bird didn't eat it, it starved mid flight and landed on a windshield, causing a car to swerve into another, killing the person in the oncoming car. Did me stepping on the...

    Textures that you can’t stand.

I second the vegan foods. Even if it tastes the same, the texture is off. and rule number 1 of meat, if anything isn't right, don't eat it. Smells weird/ looks funky, feels off? It's gone bad.

    Textures that you can’t stand.

microfiber cloth. Simply can't stand it. it feels dry and sticky at the same time, and my hands feel scaly and sticky for the next hour after holding one. So I wear gloves with it - a fact that has gotten me no small amount of ridicule.

Death Isekai - Ideas on how to kill the MC?

That... would actually work phenomonally. As I said, the idea is that a farmer fortifies his farm so much it ceases to be a "farm" and becomes a final boss dungeon that just so happens to have a farm within it.

Death Isekai - Ideas on how to kill the MC?

hmmm... He's on his way to work, complaining about the monotony of his office job. He hears a plane and stops to look for it. Hears a whistling, then, boom. I could use that as a mass exodus to another world - others become teachers, nobles, blacksmiths, adventurers. But He, the MC, becomes a...

Death Isekai - Ideas on how to kill the MC?

there was another commenter here that had a similar idea. The summoning messed up or something somehow and winds up cutting the guy in half. It's one I might borrow, but i'm not certain yet.

Death Isekai - Ideas on how to kill the MC?

I'm aware. But the presentation made it funny. The guy went out of his way to be in excellent physical status. Then, while working for a black company in japan, he got drunk after work, went home and fell asleep. He sneezed repeatedly, which moved his pillow. then one final sneeze slammed his...

Death Isekai - Ideas on how to kill the MC?

Well, it's mostly gonna be situational comedy. Nothing too out-there or extravagant. Dude gets reincarnated as a farmer. At first, he's like "Ah, this is nice. Cool, calm life, just me and my plants. I love it." But then adventurers start showing up to take his things - like collecting...
