well, right off the bat this kind of snippet in a published book is usually added by other people, or the publisher. Not the author. Otherwise it can come off as pretentious. But it's a minor problem and I personally think an author should take pride in their work otherwise why tf even start...

Personally, I prefer reading there because they have very good stories like super supportive, the cabin is always hungry, super minion etc etc, and recommended people generally stick to uploading. So as a reader I have no problem with it.
