Do you imagine yourself as the protagonist when you read?

Same, except I read all genres as long as the plot bewitches me.

Is “writing for yourself” a defense mechanism?

I write for fun, to express the ideas in my head the best I can, without expecting anything from others. Ended up going pretty well, and nowadays rather than statistics which are just numbers I look forward towards comments and people's intakes on what I wrote, doesn't mean I'll get a comment...

    Why do you write?

In my case, I've always had the same dream since I was young, and I write to unveil it out of my mind, and because it's super fun and you get to meet a lot of people who may or may not like your works, nonetheless, I don't regret any of it.

Is it me or does everyone put on a song for the mood of the book

Requiem from re:zero, any sad piano violin theme works quite well, if I feel like it's bothering my focus I just make it very low or even turn it off, to drag out some inspiration is nice too. Overall music has to have a specific rhythm and can't be louder than your thoughts otherwise good luck...

What to do with my ever increasing hate on silent readers

This comment actually made more sense than I expected, it made me think on a lot of things, I am grateful.

What to do with my ever increasing hate on silent readers

Thank you for that kind sir, just make sure you don't become ill with scribble, I say this cuz it felt like you were obsessively refreshing the page, and idk, could be a bad thing...

What to do with my ever increasing hate on silent readers

I write because that in itself is fun, everything else is an extra... You shouldn't worry too much about it, and just do your thing, if they want to say something they will, better than forced attempts which could backfire.

How do you comment on chapters without sounding like an idiot or writing something almost meaningless?

    I wouldn't thank a stranger for something I didn't enjoy.

    What is the INT stat?

I do it on large scales and create the necessity to not only invest in just int, as there are other stats that are important to have, having high int helps you learn stuff, wisdom helps with using such int properly, but I do get your point, and yes there's a "balanced system" for everyone to...

    What is the INT stat?

If you declare that races can learn and in this case [int] would be a matter of how fast, there're some nice ways to go around it like getting 1/2 int per birthday, so he'd have 2 int age 1 minimum 4 int age 2 minimum, it would show that he learns faster as a 2-year-old than when he was younger...

    What is the INT stat?

There's a reason different toddlers learn to speak faster than others... "INT" can be used that way which is interesting. o-o

    What is the INT stat?

In my novel(Villainess and Grimoire), I use it for a few different things, some self-explanatory others like increment of magic damage, understanding of the world like some people mentioned, but also of skills, for non-human races, I also use it(especially) for beasts with low int to not being...

    How important is a cover?

It was only when I placed a good cover in both my works that the views started increasing. This to say that they're both litrpg style. Without cover I had max 20-30 readers, then when I placed a cover it reached 120 very fast. I believe that no matter the type of art, the eyes are the first to...

Publishing your chapters on the go without rewriting?

I write, write, write and let it go, it's best to edit at the very end when you know the feel you want to pass through the different chapters or with the entire plot in your mind.
