Well, I feel many current novels cheapen the existence of transformation scenes. Such scenes are useful as value-adds to your novel but superficial attempts just for instant popularity just leave that disgusting feeling in my stomach. I tend to avoid such themes after a short trial read as a result.

I would agree, it is very difficult to read, I wouldn't ever consider past the first chapter. Have you tried reading the first chapter in reader view yourself, perchance? It would be good to know how the readers view your work after you have actually tried reading it yourself.
