I'd say technically I am closer to Pantser than Plotter at the moment. Both my current stories are the basic plot points then lets goooo. But I do have some stories that I am currently plotting, that may see the sun one day.

Hmmm, Easy one is just to give him a rich past, have them be able to reference events easily when he feels something similar has happened. Maybe have the character keep up with events outside their interest, struggle with terminology, they can be slow with a few things they haven't interact...

Same. I just have too many good memories of the game itself and the experience around it. About five of my friends and myself were all playing at the same time and after class we were comparing deaths, times, and all that each day. Good times.

Well, after being stuck for 4 weeks, and having a little bit of trouble for another week. I finally had a writing high! Got a chapter done a day for a whole week! First time I've done that without pause!

More about if your were to use a percentage, how would you as an author write it :blob_cookie: . (%, -percent, etc).

That is a challenge even for people with English as one their first languages. I don't have any perfect solutions. But it is something a lot of writers face and many how solutions that only worked for them. One way is too just wing it, just write it, it may not perfect but it easier to improve...

Eh, was writing and figured I might as well ask a stupid question. So! When you are writing and a character says something about percentage, what do you use? E.g. the poll responses. Anyway, that is for me. Have fun & wonderful day :blob_cookie:

Ah yes, the dream of so many authors. So many wish to be able to do 2 a day, but alas, even 1 is a miracle. Took me a year to be able to write more than 1 smallish chapter a week. For me now, it is an average of around 3500k words a week. Though whenever the motivation and mood goes into...

Always good fun when after writing for a decent period of time, you think good progress has been made, then you check the word count and it's only 100~200 words has been done. :sweat_smile:

Been stuck on one chapter for four weeks now. Not even a long or complicated one. Argh, but finally done tonight. Hopefully with that I can get the momentum moving again.

I've got no strong positive or negative opinions. For novels, I've seen authors crossovers some of their own stories. And those can be fun. Most of the time though it is just in light passing. When it comes authors crossing over to other authors novels. I've seen that happen only a few times...
