    Am I actually really smart?

If you can follow the author's bullshit without problems, doesn't that just mean you share the same brain cell(s)?

What would you do if you found yourself in the hero's position?

If idealistic storytelling has taught me anything, then there's most likely more behind the whole set-up and that chain quests give the best loot. Depending on how set up she was I either let her live as her old self or give her a new third personality depending on how far she willingly went...

    Why Are Fantasy Weapons Big/Large?.

Rule of cool, bigger means stronger, and a lot of different other reasons that could be shortened to "Weapon = d*ck, therefore it has to be big". It's mostly the same kind of reasoning you see people with sportscars argue. But they're all just compensating.

To native English speakers (or not native but you use it frequently enough)

Or even worse (better?)) switch and combine modern slang with ye olde english to create godless abominations even crafting-loving H.P. wouldn't dare to utter.

Can you write smart characters even if you arent one?

First of all, smart characters aren't the "by rejecting to go according to my plan, you have acted as I wanted as according to contingency #46209 and thereby did exactly what I wanted" n-dimensional chess-champion omniscient masterminds animes like Derp Noted or Code Brainrot want you to...

How long does it takes for you to actually fall asleep?

Does playing games and reading in the bed count as "trying to sleep"? If yes, 4+ hours, otherwise gimme 7 minutes and I'm gone

Advice that is useless. A collection.

Best worst advice I ever got was from a buddy-gone-ghost-in-times-of-need: "Read more prose ! If it doesn't sound like the lovechild of Kafka fucking Shakespeare and Dickens in a day-long orgy, while the reader needs a 2k pages long glossary then it isn't worth reading" Prose is well and good...

Sacrificing Trump or Putin to get back Ceasar and Cincinnatus sounds like a pretty sweet deal, tho?

    How to write evil characters?

Unless it's a bad guy doing evil stuff for fun reasons, sociopaths killing people because they didn't sleep well or because their lunch was lukewarm is pretty funny, in a morbid way.

Dragon Age Veilguard is completely insufferable.

Anyone wants to combine our mediocre storytelling efforts to create the next RPG of the decade? I mean now is the best time to create story-centric RPGs, people still remember BG3, but everything else released is either a slob, or an established franchise, or a remake... The bar for new entries...

    How to write evil characters?

That's just making your character a character instead of a plot device. Giving your characters flaws. A good evil character, at one point, believed they were either right or had no other choice. And then it spiraled from there. Or they were cartoonishly evil from the beginning. Those are...

Differences In Combat Between Wuxia vs. Xianxia???

Wuxia is pretty much the Asian equivalent of idolizing the Middle Ages for us Westerners. You got a fairly realistic, albeit idolized, setting, still believable deeds, if you take them as the boasting of a drunken braggart. And at its core were stories about morals or some other snippet of...
