I'm enjoying it so far! While watching the PPV, I was basically waiting for him to pop up, so it was nice to see it pop out. I like that his explicit goal is to end his career with Christian as well, especially while Christian is in the best run in his career and so less drawn to the team.

    I got a 1-star rating.

An exhausting, but good day! I'll be so glad when this week is over. ;-; Hope yours has been good as well!

    I got a 1-star rating.

Plus there are those who give 1-stars purely to troll. I've run into the scenario twice now where someone instantly added to dropped and gave it a 1 star. I shrug since, eh, can't please everybody and I know I'm great at what I do, external validation or not.

It goes without say that I'm super happy about this win.

Corty's Feedback Corner (Kinda... Read the first post!) --- Open until further notice.

You definitely raise a good point about that second sentence being too long. I tried to summarize so much in it. I'll see what I can do to fix that, thank you!

What the heck even is prose?

I'd seriously recommend trying out my videos on prose if you want to see a bit of the overarching things I'd recommend. ...Also the ones on fight scenes. I will be getting around to making something on the physical writing of fight scenes soon though. I have almost all the pieces set up for...

Corty's Feedback Corner (Kinda... Read the first post!) --- Open until further notice.

I like how different a concept this is for one of these threads! I'm game for it, with The Confessions of Cassidy Cain & The Ties That Blind.

What the heck even is prose?

This is something I wish was broken down for me like this when I was inexperienced since it's one of those things that helped demystify the actual skills that make writing. Here's hoping this overview can help make it seem just a little easier to approach.

    Working changed my writing

I've noticed with my earliest drafts and plans for my caper series, I tended to think far more straightforward with it. I leaned far more into basic antagonists and more "justice" as most people think of it as purely just punishing others. As I've gotten older and recognized more the complexity...

    Enneagram Two Character Overview

I'm alternating between using The Enneagram for character archetypes and other topics that are useful to tackle right now, so this is the newest Enneagram entry. I highly recommend these ones though if you wish to keep building on your character writing and considering options. I am curious, is...

    Daily Wins Mega Thread

I managed to hit 1K subscribers on my authortube channel and it's still growing. I'm pretty happy about that. There are many channels in this niche I've investigated that have existed much longer than mine and have more videos, yet aren't doing as well, so I'll take my win.

    A true anti-hero protagonist

I typically don't like recommending my work in these, but you can give my Grandmaster of Theft series a try if you want a genuine anti-hero instead of a villain protagonist, by your definition. She's a phantom thief, so she breaks the law and manipulates situations all the time, but she only...

    First Chapter Analysis

This is correct, but... Eh, I'll squeeze in one more just because this isn't yet another Isekai or LitRPG. But this is the only exception I'm making. If I open another in the future, I'm retooling how I do this. For web novels, this is fine. There is a bit of stuff you could do with prose to...

    Daily Wins Mega Thread

I completed Chapter 10 and am almost ready to tackle the next part of Chapter 11, which makes me really happy since I'm making good progress quick. Close to the 25% mark of my second novel.

    I'm back

I'll rest to gain energy, but I don't really procrastinate anymore. Don't get me wrong; I absolutely feel like procrastinating sometimes, especially when I'm in more of a melancholic mood, but I've found some meditation and putting myself into a state of boredom helps me get productive.

    First Chapter Analysis

It's more standardized stuff so people can tell what's going on. If anybody can just make up whatever they want, it would lead to greater confusion. "This is used for regular dialogue," I said. This is direct internal dialogue. Indirect internal dialogue is more... well, I have a video on all...

    First Chapter Analysis

I'm done. I no longer derive any personal meaning or satisfaction from this. Though for some quick responses... I like the concept, though not fond of this omniscient approach since it's very tell-y and guide as opposed to immersion. Here's a bit on omniscient if you wish to build on it...

    First Chapter Analysis

Are you sure you want me to do it? Since to be upfront, I'm not the intended audience for works like this. The opening monologue is boring and I would've stopped there the second I saw that if I didn't decide to speed through it real quick. Stuff like that isn't a hook -- characters are...
