    Writing Redemption Stories

It's like a quasi-redemption. Realistically if he survived, he would have a lot to answer for. But his death fits for convenience of the story and is a good send off for his character arc. This is why it gets tricky when villains are redeemed AND survive the consequences of their actions with a...

Is my cover holding me back?

No I don't think it is. Covers are important for sure but not the dictating force behind gaining views and readers. One of last night's trending novels for example has no cover art, just the default template, yet it has way more favorites and readers then my story does. I would guess over 1000...

What's your reason for not writing LitRPG fiction?

Ooooooh! So like health points, hard rules, a level up system, that kind of stuff? Okay, I now have a good idea of what that genre is, thank you!

    Writing From NPC to MC?

Yes. Janette, full name J'nette Olav Cicarrio. She was an NPC written as a positive interaction in the story. Monster girls aren't welcome, people scream on sight and soldiers hunt them down or capture them. She's a shopkeeper who helped hide the Monster Girl MC. Her scene was brief but I...

Writing What unique eye skills have you developed in your fiction?

No, not as of yet. This is my first book so it's the introduction to a world of Magic and Monsters. Closest I have is the cat girl's. Their eyes grant them enhanced vision in the night, and a slower depiction of movement. They see things right before it occurs, which aids in their reflexes...

    One sentence ghost stories.

I've always prayed in the night to combat my fears, but now that they whisper back I ask myself to whom have I been praying to?

    Collab?

Ooooo I love collabs! Makes for great team work, efficiency, a learning experience, and it helps advertise each others name and work! I did this one collab before with a dear friend/writer years back. Unfortunately the project remains incomplete :( unless I take on the mantle alone that is. A...

What's your take on when the Enemy (Beautiful Female) Forces herself on MC (Male).

This just sounds like the infamous scene from Invincible. ... if you know, you know >.>

    Advertising fiction (paid)

Uh do they allow smut stories in their site? I was under the impression that they don't.

What's your reason for not writing LitRPG fiction?

I don't know what that genre is x) I probably live under a rock.

How do you control an overpowered character so they don't break the story?

Add limitations that suit in a natural flow to compliment the character/story. Mayhaps they have the power of a God but their morality refuses them to kill? Or perhaps there is a weakness, a sort of loop-hole in their abilities that doesn't feel contrived or added in for the sake of "we need...

    I need a non-swear swear word

Did you want to get creative with swear words? Insults are easier to come up. Low-level slouch! Face for radio and a voice for print. A face not even a mother could love! As nimble as a Sloth and twice as slow! Heart of jelly! Yellow-eyed! Bucktoothed nimrod! Missing Link! Mouthier...

What makes your fiction worth reading at least once in a lifetime?

I rarely read a good smut story or monster girl story that takes itself seriously, so I wrote one myself! It's about monster girls (specifically cat girls), a magical fantasy world, and physical affection, or as the sophisticated say, smut with a story :blob_sir: two isolated strangers from...

I'd love a review (or two)

Hmm, a quick glimpse at your work and I've a few comments. I like the cover art, it's pretty and stands out a bit for me, mostly because the common cover art is anime inspired x) and your cover looks like actual art I would see from a bookstore. I can read into your stories individually, see...

Failure to identify with the main character?

I don't think it was the characters that made SAO popular, but rather the concept of playing in a virtual reality video game turned manga/anime. Maybe it didn't invent the genre but it certainly popularized it enough that for some time, other manga tried imitating its success. As for Kirito...

What would you do if you regressed?

My story has 2 protagonist's and neither of them are older than 30 If Felix went to the past, he would try to avoid his toddler self being sold into slavery. If KuliKuli went into the past, she definitely would warn her Aunt and Mum about the kind old man who's interested in old artifacts and...

How much do y'all re-read your chapters before publishing em?

I try to reread them a few times, dut I'm dyslexic. I expect a few typos or misplaced letters sneak their way in from time to time.

Just wondering... how many crossposting do you do (as in how many websites?)

I started on chyoa, it was working well. My story was big for the monster girl genre, until it wasn't. I wanted a story with smut, but what really sells is smuts with story sprinkled in. My work got overshadowed real quick on that genre soon, so now I'm here.
