    Fun fact, one of the old names of the city I'm living in, Hanoi, is Tonkin (東京), which in Japanese is read literally as "Tokyo" (東京), again, there is also another "Tokyo" in China as well, as far as I remember. "Eastern City" doesn't sound very creative, but it works, I guess.
