ok I am still at the bare bones... no bare marrow of a story concept this will technically be my first published novel because I only posted a prologue for the other and haven't published before

A story where a guy is convinced that they are not the main character but gradually, the story will be in a similar genre to Shadow Slave and Solo Leveling where the earth is being invaded/eaten by a foreign force and the MC is an average dude that finds themselves in a bunch of sticky...

I like the theme of a weak, overlooked, or average person gradually (Not all at once or getting OP fast) getting stronger and becoming a hero.
