it's a cute little chapter, honestly. you should see our list of halfwritten ideas for chapters for the fic. but boy, the deadline for our actual fic demands a chapter a week, which leaves little time for fanfic stuff.

i just write demon speech backwards. for example: Latrom ylwol! Em denommus uoy evah esoprup tahw rof? Which translates to: Lowly mortal! For what purpose have you summoned me? Makes it suitably strange, with a hint of Latin-esque to it. For something more eldritch, i like zalgo or upsidedown...

i usually just combine two words together and base the character off of that. I'm not really great at coming up with names.

Flightmice: rats with wings. Some people call them pigeons, but that's a misnomer. Pigeons went extinct during the apocalypse. Chocolate Troll: a troll made of chocolate. Grape Jelly Slime: Tastes like grapes. Also comes in strawberry, mint, pepper, peach, and orange marmalade variants...

We're trying yo work on a cherry blossom festival chapter, but tying it to the death game arc is a lot harder than it looks. Plus some of the glossary descriptions don't exactly describe some of the characters very well, and ugh. Why is writing so haaaaard??

Sometimes I just start writing and see where it takes me. Then I find a way to fit it in to the rest of the story. But sometimes I'm very bad at this, and instead of getting into the zone where the words and concepts flow naturally, I get distracted and start overthinking things. Things like...
