Recommendations looking for novels with badass female main characters

Depends what you count as badass but my story cuddle & monster does feature a wild magic user who grows into her abilities, a reformed witch with a chip on her shoulder against the establishment, and a heroic knight lady that could snap you in half. It's not intimidation badass, but it's still...

    Recommendations LGBT romance (m/m & m/nb & m/trans) (BL???)

Yeah, I’ve probably read too much into your wording because of some eyebrow raising choices of word. Sorry! If I find any trans or mlm romance I’ll send it your way.

    Recommendations LGBT romance (m/m & m/nb & m/trans) (BL???)

It isn’t gay if one of the characters in the pairing is a trans woman, since trans women aren’t men... or did you mean you’re looking for mlm content but wouldn’t mind straight content if the woman is trans?

    Writing Pronoun

And in case of the two characters talking having the same pronouns (aka the "gay fanfic" problem), just use their name. Turns out readers tune them out, and it doesn't read even a tenth as awkward as you'd assume!

I am about to release a new book and would like your opinion on the cover I made for it

Could use a bit of color honestly. I see there's some blue on the edges and some colored cubes, but it's still mostly a pure black and a pure white, and these are not fun colors. As a general rule of thumb, always avoid "pure" 255 colors.

Oh, that could be worse! Nothing that a good cut-paste can't fix. If anything, thanks for copying over all the definitions from novelupdates! EDIT: There we go, all the letters of the dump up to E have been dealt with. Onto G onwards, then filling the missing definitions, then going through and...

The Fundamental Difference Between A 5 Star And A 1 Star Reviews

Giving anything under a 5 star rating immediately makes the story's chances of becoming popular worse off. Essentially, any rating system always devolves to this: give the maximum note if you recommend it, don't say anything if you don't. Very few stories deserve to have their chances dashed.

    What's in Your Patreon?

Right now I have given a "free" access to one donation-only author's commentary and unfinished snippets document I made last year, plus I just added a tier where patreons get a shoutout at the end of chapters (name + potential project/story of theirs if they have one).

    who likes bisexual protagonists?

I absolutely agree and in fact I have a topically relevant example: the new Netflix She'Ra, whose main character and main antagonist are both lesbian women who are clearly in love with one another (and there's a big game of will-they-won't-they because they're on opposite sides of a war), who...

    who likes bisexual protagonists?

Try "saying from the present". Biphobia is still alive and well. And yeah, of course you should be mindful not only of what you're saying but also of the way you're phrasing it.

    who likes bisexual protagonists?

I don't like going into specific callouts because it can turn sour super quickly, but in this specific situation I'm afraid if I don't I'll be accused of jumping at shadows.

    who likes bisexual protagonists?

Let me clarify what I meant: it was not overt "I don't want bi people to exist" type biphobia, but a much less egregious "Bi people are valid but it's pretty clear I haven't gotten rid of all my hangups on them yet" type. Less anti-bi, and more ally that accidentally says something biphobic...

    who likes bisexual protagonists?

Yikes, Ben, yikes. "Good" writing or "bad" writing without any indicator as to what you mean with each is so meaningless it ends up coming off as a thinly veiled excuse to just hate people that are vocal about their protag being bi. And "I'm okay with it just don't shove it in my face" is WORD...
