As Snusmumriken said, you can add a bit of description without it being out of character for such an urgent and panicked situation. Nightmarish doesn't say much and leaves the reader (me at least) wanting. Also, I love the new synopsis a lot more. It feels a lot more active, and there's a lot...

Synopsis: This isn't the type of story I like to read, so keep in mind what point of view I'm coming from. I think the synopsis would be more engaging if you gave the organization a name. Like, since it gives them a face. Or: Also, you're being a bit redundant by combining "Not remembering...

I don't consider myself a niche author since, while I do write what I want, I tweak it so that it can be popular. I do want people to read my stuff since I'm not just writing for myself, so I'm a bit vain in some respects.

You have a problem if there was multiple prequels or sequels, like in parallel. Imo the best implementation would be a "Related" page where the prequels and sequels are laid out.

Needs/Wants(perceived needs) create drive. Without drive, your character has no reason to do anything less you're having something else act on them and push the plot that way. As the author, you need to know what drives the plot.
