    is scribble hub down?

...Fourth thread about that. Yep, the main site is down, no official information about it for now.

This is, paradoxically, unlikely, as far as I understand. The likelihood of developing a kink that would result in human extinction is extremely low - it's much more likely the AI would start doing something incomprehensible but ultimately harmless to humanity. Would be kind of funny though.

Theoretically it's absolutely possible, if only through continuous iteration without outside input. The issue is, without some clever internal tests and/or restrictions, this could have very, very weird results well past regular kinks.

    3 general questions

    1. If they're gonna appear relatively soon and you are sure they're going to be there, feel free to add them; some additional exposure is always good unless it's a bad tag (like mind control, a lot of people are turned off by that) but even then you may want to include it for the sake of honesty...

I think the best example I've seen is that gravity magic/users can only amplify or reverse gravity, but for proper control you need space manipulation or dimensional magic or something of the sort. Usually there's no such thought behind gravity magic/users though.

From my experience, I think gravity magic is often very poorly presented because people don't understand space. Similar to most other branches of science, for example lightning. The few stories that use actual electric charge instead of some magical form of lightning, typically brush over the...

Chat GPT proof reading experience - Alternative options?

Have you tried asking it to keep the paragraph spacing or something? It should be able to do this. I'm nowhere near an expert on this, but you should be able to set some constraints for it either in the chat itself (it remembers the conversation) or using more advanced tools I know exist but I...

What is your favorite cultivation story?

If you mean CN cultivation story, then I don't really have a favorite. For cultivation stories in a broad meaning, then Spire Dweller and To Save A World - Tenets of Eden. I already mentioned that second one in your previous thread iirc, but it's closer to western stories and LitRPGs than the...

Which do you prefer Manga, Anime or Light Novel?

I don't really have a preference between manga and written stories, but I rarely watch anime cause: 1. Too little content, frequently cut down to fit in a season. 2. Forced pace. 3. A curated selection of content.

What is your favorite story or stories of all time?

Seras is a great author, yup. Wouldn't say my very favorite, but definitely up there. My personal favorite is probably Depth by Marcin Podlewski. From online stories probably "We're Not So Different, You and I". Not limited to written content, there's also a manga "Beauty and the Beast Girl"...

Authors, please, recommend me your story!

Don't mind if I do. :blob_gift: Power Punch Transgender themes at first, a lot of GL and fun powers, then some existentialism and philosophy.

The signature is supposed to be about you, like a stamp you put on documents with your information. The function is obviously different, but in essence those two are very similar.

Does make the need for predation to live make a creature evil?

No. Hard no unless you narrow down the question. I could insert a classic "being born doesn't make you evil" and it's not strictly wrong, but I don't like that way of thinking. Instead, I approach evil first, because what makes something evil? Perspective, that's what, and ingrained values. A...

    They butchered Capcut so hard...

Statistically speaking, every single good app (and a whole lot of other things) either goes to shit or becomes obsolete/insufficient and falls into disuse sooner or later. It's just a question of how and when. I haven't heard about Capcut before, but this sounds like typical greed.

    Help

By "just to put images", you mean there's no text? That's against the content guidelines, it's not gonna get approved if you try make it public.

    Things You Find Cringe.

As a general rule, if certain things (typically speech and bahaviors since cringe is mostly used in that context, but it's not exclusive) are simplified or exagerrated, there's a good chance they are cringe. Cringe, however, is heavily context-dependent. Doing one thing when partying may be...

am i the only one thinking RR ads are kinda flimsy

The vast majority of ads on RR are so low-effort it's almost funny, and a significant part is just obvious bait. I can never seriously treat a story which advertises itself with paint-drawn stick figures.

    A Fantasy Scenario Quiz

    1. probably B or C depending how much effort we're talking about 2. A, D, or E mainly depending on the odds 3. D, leaning towards A 4. probably C 5. B 6. E (unrelated, but I don't see the difference between A and C) 7. most likely D or E depending on the details
