Gawr for my headcanon is dragon-slayer tier and pretty much won't die. Ames is more normal-ish. Skilled paladin but not monstrous. Eochy is stronger, I think.

@Bochi is definitely going to Urobutcher the scouting party. :blob_happy: Even still, one does not send kiddos on scouting parties if the threat level assessment is "genuinely dangerous". If I was a parent, I would not send my kids with Kaede. Sounds like a really really bad idea...

I think it's only Sven who's currently part of the academy? Gawrgaru already graduated (same year as Raul), and @fyrre is homeschooled/tutored(?) Gwen is at the Runeswick universities.

I think this would make the most sense if it was nobles defending their own citizens. In this case, it's like nobles coming to save the citizens of a third-party island (not inside their own territory / sphere of influence), so it's more like Athens and Thebes sending a force to assist Crete...
