    Hmmmmm, let's see. There's: 1. Sadie in the climax of Stephen King's 11/22/63, which absolutely crushed me. 2. The climax in Harlan Coben's Home, where Patrick attempts to kill himself in front of his mother. 3. Misuzu when she dies at the end of the Air anime film.

    The exploratory discovery aspect of it and making connections that build things up throughout the story and tie things up near the end of the story.

    6. Don't think about the ending from the beginning and let the story flow until the end. This gives me ample opportunity to explore the possibilities as I'm writing and lets the story unfold in a natural unforced way.
