So, I got a direct message from someone who wants to translate my work into Russian and wants to post it up on tl.rulate. Obviously, I have a few problems with this. The main issue is that this user will have control over the page on tl.rulate, and I don't know how reputable this site is...

I'm doing that right now with my main novel. Just put in a warning chapter before they hit the chapters that need work to give them a heads-up, and then resort to the chapters with the warning chapter after you go along fixing stuff.

Yeah, like whatever your writing skills were back then might have been better, but it doesn't seem like you lost that much if you did. And it looks like you will return to where you were in a short time. You're most likely beating yourself up more than anyone of us would.

I wanted to make a joke, but meh... On a serious note. Your stuff seems technically sound to me, my man. The only thing we don't know is if the plot of your story will be captivating but that's a whole different thing of course. Happy writing.

Use whatever makes life easier for your readers and yourself. Sure, it would be better world-building, but if you and your readers keep needing to go to a conversion chart every time you mention distances, then it may detract from the story. I considered doing the same for increasing the number...

This is a half-baked idea. First of all, there would have to be a reason why an author would pay you to put their character or characters in your WIP. The biggest purpose being that it would help spread awareness of our creations to another possible audience. So at this moment who are you in...

The ending of the first inFAMOUS game on PS3. That ending fucking blew me away and it hits harder if you try to be a hero. I didn't see it coming and playing it a second time through had all these secret nods that were sort of giveaway the ending right in your face and you don't even realize it...

I just write short stories on the side to give myself a breather and to break up the monotony. My problem is I have 20 pilot chapters because of this practice and I can't focus on all of my other stories :blob_no::blob_pat_sad:
