Ignoring content, what do you think is the minimum number of chapters in a novel to be considered worth reading?

I like it more in the hundreds range, I like picking one specific story and sticking with it. The large size does seem scary though, especially if I'm iffy on the description and genre. Quite often I've read things that I wished I hadn't...or at least not for THAT long...

What little details irks you when reading?

I don't like it when two or more characters talk within the same paragraph. For example like this: "What a fine evening." John said as he looked at the window. "How can you tell? You're staring at the curtains." his loyal companion asked. I like it more like this: "What a fine evening." John...

    Tragedy flag usage?

Really it depends on wheter or not I'm interested in all the terrible happenings, if sad thing after sad thing stacks without any breathing room to leave a sliver of hope, then I just legit get bored. You need to have some good happen in order to crush that hope later with despair.

The first murder of my mystery novel has finally occured!

It introduces the three main girls who we'll be following (Sieglinde the most since she's the focus of the first case), I also tried to show as much as I can of the strange small town they live in without being overly exposition-y about it. There's a ton of side characters, their classmates...

Why is music in gacha games so good?

A lot of passionate musicians are addicts of gacha games themselves, so it makes sense they would work in an industry that allows them to gamble for cute girls even more.

Male protagonists or female protagonists: which one do you prefer?

I prefer a sexy protagonist. Luckily I'm Pan so as long as the protagonist has a interesting personality or unique design that appeals to me I like them.
