I don’t study creative writing, my brain just involuntarily vomits words onto the screen

My plan is to write the entirety of the first book before I post anything at all. That way I'll have between 6 to 12 months of backlog. As for how that plan is actually going... I almost got to the halfway point, then I fell into a rut of endlessly editing the chapters I already have...

I don’t have allergies… buuuut I am an extreme night owl and daylight savings has completely annihilated me. I went from having hours of energy to spend on writing daily, to averaging half an hour per day.

The main character will always be the narrator in first point of view in my stories. That way I can try to impose as much of the mental fuckery as possible onto the reader.

I just realized I forgot to say my own opinion on this… I can understand AI cover art if someone’s desperate from no other options. But slapping AI art onto the end of every single chapter… feels not good.

It’s kind of giving me whiplash to see so many people who hate AI writing with a rabid passion suddenly turn around and support AI artwork
