It's crazy how much mistaking the gender of the protagonist affects reading a synopsis.
I've had at least three occasions where I've read a synopsis thinking "oh, this feels like a funny, unique and interesting story concept" only to start the first chapter, realise the protagonist is female, then go "oh, it's just going to be a reverse harem story, isn't it?" right after re-reading the synopsis.
