Rewriting is so much harder to accept than just editing but it is so much easier to do than editing. Like, I don't want to delete my words and replace them but there is no way to edit into anything salvagable without serious plot holes.

People go looking for recipe and have to read a webnovel chapter before getting to the recipe like a mid-life crisis crunchy mom's cooking blog. There would have to a be a system to help authors find relevant recipes but it could be fun. -
