Other than the occasional attempted murder my family’s pretty chill… albeit quite eccentric… we used to have a lot of drama but the culprit got exiled… nonetheless hopefully the situation gets less depressing for you soon-nyah.

Every day without drama just seems impossible

Both my mother and stepmother are causing issues and refusing to bring my siblings to the wedding because I won't give in to their demands and make them the center of attention. My dad and grandparents are coming though, and it is starting drama between several members of the family.

Siblings are young and don't understand, so they are sad, and the Mom's are blaming it on me. Stepdad is trying to heal us, but he is wholly supporting my mother.

Weddings often bring out the worst in people, especially when people don't seem to understand that weddings should be for the pair getting married. Being invited is an honor because the pair getting married want you to be there on their special day. The attention should only be on the couple, no one else. I think a lot of people never learned that.

Well, the other question you have to ask is who is paying for the wedding.
Even if the wedding is meant for the two getting married, I'd say that the person paying for it has the greatest weight in opinion.

It can be hard to honor your father and mother when they are being unreasonable or contentious.

She is not contributing. Though Yeah. I want to honor them but they consistently stir me to anger that no other person has been able to show.

1.unreasonable
2. Not understanding
3. Understand but ignore your point anyway
