Was playing D&D a homebrew, Star Trek campaign. Aboard the USS Nashville. I, the bard esque Helmsman, decided the damn vulcan needed some hazing. The setting was prefederation, so we were on a NX classed vessel like Archer's Enterprise, except we found a Roundabout from Picards Enterprise.
A Mexican ship crashed into the Brooklyn Bridge. The Mexican Government blamed DOGE. Not really political, more current events.
