What genre do you want?

Hmm
I like romance, action, magic, oh oh some mystery would be nice! I like a good mystery, haven't read one of those in a while.
I'm down for most genres really, except gore and edgy stuff.
Lay it on me, I'm open to trying new things

Mushoku Tensei (Jobless renincarnation) - Action, Magic, Mystery even adventure(isekai)...Mc is a bit perverted but it's character development and world building is Peak
A Silent Voice - Romance Movie (highly recommended if not watched)

Mob Psycho 100 - Action, Magic and the goal of MC is to confess but not romance driven. (HIghly recommended if you want to try comedy)
And The one anime with all genres you like - Sword Art Online(season 1 is extremely good but can't guarantee if you will like later seasons)

Ouran High School Host Club. It was my first. I like it.

If you are up for a Visual Novel, then When the Seagulls Cry is a great mystery romance. For the best experience I recommend using the Umineko Project mod while playing. It gives full voice acting and animated sprites. The steam version, to my knowledge, doesn’t have voice acting and the Mangagamer version has no voice acting and the og sprites.

"Futa-Bu!" lol, just kidding. Try the one Azmiran recommended; "The Ancient Magus Bride" is a good, safe story.

The only anime I like enough to recommend would be K-Project… as it’s a masterpiece all the way through… it’s got some really nice action and an amazing soundtrack… it’s also one of the rare anime with an actual ending-nyah.

if you haven’t seen it yet, you should watch Kamisama Kiss. Romance, fantasy, magic, monster boys and girls (yokai), slowburn mystery, and just overall beautiful art. Inuyasha vibes. Tomoe (male lead) is absolutely gorgeous.
