I love when I finally have a day off work to get caught up on household chores, and I spend all day in bed watching true crime shows instead. Adulting at its finest.
You ever find your story expanding beyond what you intended? Like I don’t even know what’s going to happen next, I’m just as surprised as the reader. That’s how book 3 is shaping up.
Missing my dad a lot tonight, and the way he always championed my interest in the arts. Even if I thought it wasn’t worth it, he always did. And that made it worth it to me.
I had two days off work and spent them editing book one and two of my planned four book arc. Several hundreds of thousands of words later, and my brain is soup.
The snow is starting to fall, and with a forecast of ice on the way, operation charge all powerbanks is complete. Hopefully my laptop battery will last a while before needing charging. Cause I’m right in the middle of this chapter ?
We are supposed to get a major snow and ice storm. I sure hope the power doesn’t go out. I’m not worried so much about me, but my animals. There is an arctic cold front here too. So good vibes that the power stays on!
Spent the evening editing some scenes of my first book. Things that had always kind of seemed a little off. Lesson learned, always listen to that little voice when it won’t leave things alone.
Back to work tomorrow after 3 days off. I spent all weekend writing, how am I supposed to switch back into work mode lol. At least I am now 15,000 words into book 3.
