Castlevania is another good one. And yeah, as you said. Developers know how to make a game. However, their hands are tied by the executives, and thus the shareholders.
Legends ZA budget was like $14M, and that thing looked like such crap. That I didn’t give them money. ?
I don't know why they set the game entirely in a city. Modern buildings are so ugly that you need super high quality graphics to make em look decent.
You see, I’d be fine with one city. If you can explore a whole world, secrets and all. I think almost everyone would be fine if it was like that.
My brother got mad at me for saying the new pokemon game looks like garbage after he told me it's good. He said, "look, you don't just battle them the same way as you used to." I told him he should try the new digimon game since he loved digimon.
@Envylope Did you drop your brother on his head when he was young? The point of Pokemon is world exploration. ZA didn’t even had a world, just a city. ?
Hey, it's okay. I told him, "you're free to like any garbage you like." And he told me, "Nah, sis, you like fucking garbage." Classic sibling love.
I disagree that the point is world exploration. You know how linear almost every main series Pokémon game is?
You explore the world, find pokemon, and catch them. The point is the world, so you can capture, train, and battle with them. Yes, Pokemon games are linear. Though, the older ones had many things to find within the whole world.
Gold and Silver, Lugia in a cave at the bottom. Ho-oh above the tower. Ruby and Sapphire, Latios and Latias, or finding stuff underwater. The one after that, had you find Giratina either in that void, or in a creepy place.
No, I was just verifying lol. Anyway, unfortunately. Nintendo knew the game would sell either way, so not much effort was put into it.
Yeah but Kirby Air Riders being perfect is giving me the sense that Nintendo is going to start letting developers do more with their products.
