Yeah, but that's kind of the point. You can get rif of that second risk by not intentionally pissing Nintendo off.

But for GOTY, I suppose to solve the issue for the whole indie thing. I’d say it is best to divide the categories.

Between Low, Mid, and High budget. Since clearly, developers comes in all types.

But if you don't piss nintendo off, nintendo detractors don't care about the game.

Yeah, I agree with that.

Nintendo is kinda sue happy though lol. When they tried to sue over the monster auto battle mechanics.

I immediately just thought of Nights of Azure, which uses auto battle mechanics for the servans.

Came out like in 2015 or something.

Because let's be honest, bro, you can't treat Expedition 33 and other high budget games as if the developers are just more competent than the developers of low budget indie games.

They got to make a better game because they had the resources.

Damn I thought all of Nintendo's law suits were pokemon related, did not expect to see a Xenoblade lawsuit.

I wouldn’t say more competent, but they were skilled. Which I am sure, if smaller budget ones had more money, they can put out something better.

But that’s just life, shouldn’t discredit them though. As their presence gives more weight to the independent community, and reflects positively on them.

Nintendo does Nintendo things lol.

Nintendo’s patents are pretty insane when you look at them.

Nintendo does not want to make a good game. They would rather sue until they are the only ones who can make games. I find it funny though. No other AAA company like Nintendo will allow it to happen. They will counter lobby nintendo. The only time lobbying is good is when a lobbying company faces another monopoly.

Nintendo is in a weird spot, where their games are good. Not 90s/2000s good, but good. Except Pokemon.

But their methods of doing things is corrupt. Hence why I won’t purchase from them.

I haven't played a Nintendo game since middle school, so I couldn't tell you. I am not their target audience for sure.

For instance, I’d like to play the remake of Mario RPG, but I ain’t gonna give my money to a sue happy company.

Fair enough, if you never played Explorer’s of Sky. I highly recommend it, emulate it.

I will give money to them if they make a game I like.

The problem mainly lies in the fact that the developers are awesome, but the executives suck.
