Yeah, though research's purpose is to teach peeps to approach problems with a system of how to solve one. But I guess that didn't land well on us because it's one of the most hated subjects in high school and in college.
And now AI has appeared, it made the disconnect worse.
I once put a paragraph from my garbage high school essay into an AI detector for fun. Somehow it got 100% AI. Maybe I'm better at writing than I thought~
@Hans.Trondheim Yeah haha I do my own illustrations for my story ? nowhere near as professional as you, but ya know, a labor of love. I'm a sappy romance writer ?
Though I'm not one to judge peeps that use AI to have a decent cover for their novels. I mean, I can understand their predicament; for me, AI proliferation is the 'great equalizer' that rooted out posers from dedicated artists.
Also, you really read my novels? I'm kinda embarrassed, and touched, someone took notice of those works. Tis not much, but those are also labors of love.
AI proliferation is also why I took many skills as I can, like coding, baking, cookery, and robotics, aside from animation/drawing, writing, teaching and music.
@Anemic_Vampire I don't really learn all in one sitting. If I'm exhausted studying one discipline, I either take a rest, or take up another skill. Also, I find that self-studying helps me more than a structured, formal course, because in the former, I take things at my pace.
I have read a few of your novels! It was pretty funny, me being Chinese, I was reading Paulina Rex like ? loved the history and worldbuilding of that one~
And now AI has appeared, it made the disconnect worse.
