Have you been listening to too much pop? Need an ear cleanse?

    Try no wave!

What's no wave? It's basically music that sounds like you're being beaten over the head with a metal pipe. Can you guess that it originated in New York?
The scariest aspect of Indonesian culture is the fact that you have to share your food. Thou must.

The other day I had some snacks to hold onto for some guests at the office, and everybody had to get a piece—even if they didn't have anything to do with it.
"Everyone's got it all wrong. Nothing less than armed revolution will solve the problem," tweets a man who most certainly has not been planning an armed revolution.

Still can't get enough of the Clipse album. This track especially is a standout among standouts. Just an absolute banger with punchlines over punchlines over punchlines. The hook still hasn't left my head, kinda like...

I finished watching that Minecraft ARG everyone's been talking about. It's alright. I feel like people gas up these long artistic Minecraft pieces too much, like with Parkour Civilization.
If I had a terminal illness and only had a few days to live, I'd lowkey go cave-diving. Like sure, it'd be pants-shittingly terrifying but at least I'd know I'd be absolutely dead by the end of it.
You know I've always wondered, would you be able to make small talk with the demons torturing you in hell? Like let's say one of them's dipping you in lava or something. If you asked them if they worked in shifts or whatever, would they reply?

I'm not typically fond of this racist-dad-core yacht rock, but Sultans is undeniable. Just such iconic guitar playing from Mark Knopfler. Often imitated, never replicated, unless you're one of those guys on Youtube who can play this whole song without a pick.

Outro guitar solo is deservedly praised as one of the best in history.
When I was a kid, I used to watch this show called Class of 3000 on Cartoon Network while having absolutely no idea who Andre 3000 was. I thought he was just a character

Impeccable positive vibes. This guy's been on repeat for the whole year, definitely one of hip hop's hidden gems. Lush production, live instrumentation, poetic lyricism. Just so warm and life-affirming.
I always find it funny when characters exposit crucial background information when they likely wouldn't have within the natural flow of the conversation because the writer(s) couldn't find a way to introduce the information gradually and organically.
Ahh my bad guys, we have to reschedule the end of the world. Something came up and tomorrow just doesn't work anymore for the apocalypse.

We'll let you guys know when we've worked out a new date

    Really sorry ?‍♂️

Pink Floyd used to be my favorite band in highschool, and this track in all its psychedelic shimmering good production glory was like a gateway drug. I would obsess over the way all of the different elements come together, all of the guitar and vocal tracks layering over one another. I thought the song had the coolest chord progression ever as well.
