Swans are known as the loudest live band of all time. Sadly this video can't portray that overwhelming sonic assault, but we can imagine.
Definitely one of my go-to's for when I want to go goblin mode. It's weirdly therapeutic. Maybe it's the repetition.

This is the definitive version of Goodbye. Spontaneous, raw, intense, and poignant. Everybody kills it, but especially the drummer whose name I can't bother to Google. Toe's drummer is fucking nuts.

I feel like recommending live performances, so I'll start with this one. One of the most legendary performances of all time.
Why exactly? Idk, the song's pretty energetic and stuff and I guess Number Girl have legend status in the alternative j-rock scene.
Listening to it is known to conjure uncontrollable emotions, so be warned.
